Mr. Paul D. Ware, age 71 of Murphy, NC, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Murphy Medical Center. Mr. Ware was born Monday, June 15, 1936 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Everett Ware and the late Etheline Morgan Ware. Paul was a member and deacon of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church. He worked for many years as a truck driver and farmer. Paul loved to trade on cattle and he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Ware and sister, Wilma Tompkins.

Survivors include: wife, Carolyn Ware of Murphy, NC, son & daughter-in-law, Rex and Carol Ware of Mooresville, NC, daughter & son-in-law, Debbie and Brian Farmer of Murphy, NC, sisters, Muriel Bishop of Canton, GA, Wanda Pyles of Jasper, GA and Opal Germann of Murphy, NC, brothers, Clyde "Doc" Ware of Mineral Bluff, GA, Joe Ware of Canton, GA and Gene Ware of Murphy, NC, grandchildren, Brandon Ware and his wife, Anita, Ashley Ware, Courtney Ware, Timothy Wilson, Dusty Farmer, Dawn Decker and her husband, Darrell and Misty Farmer and her fiancee Ryan Self. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Allie Ware, Noah Ware and Shelby Decker along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church(Murphy) with Rev. Harold Stiles, Rev. Steve Ware and Rev. Rex Ware officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Sunday, April 13.
