Patricia Ann Barnett

Mrs. Patricia Ann Kilpatrick Barnett, age 66 of Murphy, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Murphy. Mrs. Barnett was born June 3, 1949 in Murphy, NC to Arnold and Lenore Gregory Kilpatrick. She was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County and was a member of Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Barnett enjoyed quilting and was an animal lover.

Survivors include: husband, Gary Barnett, daughter, Kandace Barnett, sisters, Jo Stiles, and Ann Stiles, all of Murphy.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Crisp officiating. Music will be provided by Montrece Hardin. Interment will be in the Maggie's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 3-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Maggie's Chapel Baptist Church in Brasstown, NC 28902.
