Pat Harris

Pat Harris, age 76 of Blue Ridge, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at his home. Pat was born June 21, 1941, in Gilmer County to the late Harley Harris and the late Laura Key Harris. He had been an active member and Deacon of Cherrylog Baptist Church. Pat retired from Tennessee Chemical Company after 30 years of service. He enjoyed running his John Deere Tractor, cattle farming, and landscaping work. He was preceded in death by, siblings, Poley Haris, Edward Harris, Seaborn Harris, Othella Minnie Key, and Imogene Thomas.

Survivors include wife of 55 years Linda Harris, daughter, Angie Harris, granddaughter, Paige Waddell, brother, Kenneth Harris, sister, Novella Harris Foster.
Funeral services: Friday, February 9, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doyle Davis and Rev. Harold Lowery officiating. Music provided by Marcia Cochran, His Grace, Greg, and Gaela Lashley. Interment will follow in Cherry Log Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Arnold Watkins, Ken Starkey, Gary Cochran, Steve Bolinger, Ron Tisdale, Larry Nichols. Honorary pallbearers: Frank Tipton, Junior Mathis, Rev. Joey Patterson, and Deacons Cherry Log Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday and Thursday evening, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
