Pamela "Crissy" Hyde

Our community mourns the loss of Pamela "Crissy" Hyde. She was born June 27, 1973 and died on February 1, 2025. She was a very kind hearted and generous person to those around her.

She lived her entire life in Cherokee County, North Carolina and worked as a medical assistant for over 20 years. She treated her patients as if they were her own family members. She attended Andrews Second Baptist Church in which she was actively involved in the church card ministry sending cards of encouragement to people in times of need throughout the nation.

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Murphy, North Carolina. Pastor Chuck Davis will officiate the service. The family will be receiving friends for a time of visitation at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home in Murphy, North Carolina on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 1:30 P.M. until the 3:00 P.M. service hour.

Crissy was preceded in death by her grandparents; Dale and June Earwood and Lee and Peggy Hyde. She leaves behind her daughter, Breanna Jennings; son in law, Travis Jennings; her granddaughter, Kennedy Mae Jennings; her parents, Ray and Teresa Hyde; twin brother, Kenny Hyde; sister in law, Kelly Hyde; nephews Luke and Logan Hyde; niece, Lauren Hyde. Several other uncles, aunts, cousins and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations in memory of Crissy be made to Logan's Run Rescue, in Murphy, North Carolina or the Gideon's International for Bibles.
