Othella Pittman

Othella Pittman, age 91, passed away on March 25, 2022.

Othella was born April 27, 1930 in Copperhill, TN to the late Arthur Chastain and the late Eva Chastain.

She was proceeded in death by her husband James Wallace Pittman, brothers; Carl Chastain, Hobert Chastain, sisters; Loetta Chastain, Odessa Pierce, Winnie Golforth, and Nelma King.

Othella is survived by her children Janet (Michael) Buchanan, Sandra Pittman, and Joey (Shannan) Pittman. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Jeremy (Amy) Buchanan, Jacob (Tiffany) Buchanan, Elijah (Tammy) Grindstaff, Jessica (Will) Thomas, Austin Pittman and 10 Great-Grandchildren.

Othella was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to read her Bible and took every opportunity to witness of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed sitting on the porch, sewing, and spending time with her family.

The Family will recieve friends on April 1, 2022 from 3:00-4:00 PM at Kingtown Baptist Church in McCaysville. A Celebration of life will be held on April 1, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Kingtown Baptist Chruch with Rev. Terry Callihan and Rev. Joey Buchanan Officiating.


In Lieu of Flowers the family requests donations be made to the Kingtown Baptist Church Building Fund.
