Oscar Donald Allen III

Friday, Jan 27, Oscar Donald Allen III, 72, passed into heaven from a heart attack. Son of Oscar & Dorothy Allen, Don was born in Fort Worth, TX. He was a beloved and devoted husband to his wife, Marsha Walden Allen and is survived by his daughter, Heather Moon and her husband John Moon of New Kent, his son, Oscar Allen and his wife Kristi and there two daughters Kenley and Taylor of Houston, TX. Surviving siblings are Linda Bates and her husband Ken of Bullard, TX; Jennifer Kimmel and her husband Rick of Las Vegas, NV. and numerous nieces and nephews. His younger sister Charlotte Palmer of Lubbock, TX preceded him in death.

He loved his lord and savior as well as his entire family. He was a man of many and varied interests, including playing cards, chess, reading avidly, and listening to music. He was a talented artisan. With a keen sense of humor, he enjoyed telling funny stories to roars of laughter and had a special place in his heart for his two doxies (dachshunds). He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
