Ora Marie Giroux, age 98 of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 at Union General Hospital in Blairsville.
Mrs. Giroux was born Monday, October 17, 1910 in Canada to the late Noel and Marie (Bouchard) Sylvain.
She moved to Branan Lodge in 1986 from Daytona Beach, Florida and was a member of St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church in Blairsville. Mrs. Giroux was preceded in death by her husband, Laurier Giroux and a daughter, Lorraine Kennedy.
Survivors include: son, Ronald Giroux of Waterville, Maine; daughter, Ursula MacDougall of Young Harris, Georgia; son, Raymond Giroux of Bangor, Maine; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
Services will be held in Waterville, Maine at a later date.
