Octavies Beavers Jr., age 94 of Marietta, GA passed away July 4, 2021 in Austell, GA. Mr. Beavers was born January 22, 1927 in McCaysville, GA to the late Octavies Beavers Sr. and the late Dora McDonald Beavers. A veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Mt. Paran Church in Atlanta, GA, was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Elaine Lyons, and his sister, Ellen Higdon.
Survivors include: wife, Evelyn Beavers; daughters, Patricia Ann Neagle and Shari (Phillip) Hall; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, GA with interment in Barnes Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the American Heart Association.
