Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death and memorial services for Mr. Norman Eugene Ellingsworth, age 86, of Blairsville, who passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Clay County Care Center in Hayesville, North Carolina.
Mr. Ellingsworth was born in DelRay Beach, Florida, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in Korea. He had been a police officer in Boca Raton, Florida. His wife, Elaine Fountain Ellingsworth, passed away the day after he passed away.
Family members include two daughters, Rebecca Elaine Ellingsworth and Nancy Ellingsworth.
Memorial services have been scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 5:00 p.m., to be held at Antioch Baptist Church in Blairsville.
