Norma Mullican

Norma Antoinette Mullican, age 85 of Young Harris, GA, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Chatuge Regional Hospital. Norma was born in Cook County, IL to the late Max Grust and Ruth Pressell. She attended and was active at Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church and was a member of Chatuge Regional Hospital Auxillary (Pink Ladies), Regency Hospice, Towns County AARP, Friends of the Library of Towns County, Book Bunch, Red Hatters and ICL at Young Harris College. She volunteered at the Chatuge Regional Nursing Home and the Licklog Players Community Theatre. She was preceded in death by husband, Ruben Houston Mullican.

Survivors include: neice, Linda H. Moore and husband, Brian of Nashville, TN, nephew, Kenneth L. Hendrix of Dickson TN, neice, Wanda Stefaniak and husband, Tom of Hendersonville, TN and neice, Rose Gay of Hendersonville, TN.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Darris Baker officiating.

The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, GA is in charge of arrangements.
