Mrs. Norma Fern Hunter, age 70, of Blairsville and Hiawassee passed away Thursday morning October 7, 2010 at Union General Hospital in Blairsville.
Norma was born Friday, April 12, 1940, in Peoria, Illinois, to the late Guy and Vivian (Shamo) Pudney. She had lived in this area since 1976, coming here from Tooele, Utah. Norma had attended Liberty Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hunter in 1980 and sons, Dewayne Edward Hunter in 1973 and Michael Hunter in 2004.
Norma is survived by daughter, Roxann Pudney of Nevada and daughter and son-in-law, Karen and G.W. Brong of Epworth, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Lillian Hunter of Hiawassee, GA; brothers, Junior Dalton of Nevada and James Ellison of Utah; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
