Mrs. Norma Billie Welch Gantt, age 76, of Rome GA, formerly of Fannin County, who passed away September 30, 2010 at Fannin Regional Hospital.. Mrs.Gantt was born March 22, 1934 in Fannin County to Mr. William M. Welch and Pearl Patterson Welch . Billie was a member of Wilkerson Road Baptist Church, in Rome, GA.. She enjoyed working with ceramics.
Survivors include: son, Jack Gantt; two granddaughters, Jena Nicole Gant Owens, and Emily Brooke Gantt; sisters, Thelma German, Jean Lewis Livingstone, both of McCaysville, GA, and Bernice Goss of Gainsville, GA.
Visistation will be from 12:00 noon until time of the service at 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services: Saturay, October 2, 2010 at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music will be provided by J. W. Patterson, and Barron and Kim Early. Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Burger, Jerry Wayne Goss, Larry Welch, Dennis Mull, Franklin Welch and Jamison Early. Interment will be in the Kingtown Baptist Church Cemetery.
