Nolan Campbell

> On October 15, 2015 at 9:28pm, at the age of 80, Nolan Campbell finally got to walk the hills of Heaven. It is said that in Heaven a person receives a job that truly fulfills them. So I'm sure Nolan is tending the glorious fields adjacent the streets of gold. If there are animals in Paradise, it won't be long before they'll be tamed. Mr. Campbell was born in Cherokee NC to the late B.H. Campbell and the late Flossie Payne Campbell. Nolan ran a dairy farm as a young man; he retired from Shaw Industries, and ran 7 Oaks poultry farm with his wife. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Deltha Mae Campbell, Jeanette Davenport, Helen Jordan, brothers, Earl Campbell, J.B. Campbell, Herbert Campbell, Charles Campbell, grandson, Daniel Campbell, brother in laws, Herbert Watkins, Benny Watkins, Glenn Watkins.


> Nolan is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Evelyn Watkins Campbell, his 4 children and their spouses: Timmy and Laurel Campbell of Fla, Sherry Henderson of McCaysville Ga, Charlotte and Francis Gillespie of Blue Ridge Ga, and Mary Lou and Tim McMichen of Young Harris Ga; brothers: Hoyt Campbell, Zack (Deloris) Campbell,and Charles Campbell, sisters: Doris (Helburn) Long, Ruth Ann (Quinton) Davenport his 9 grandchildren and their spouses: John and Verena Campbell of Germany, Tyler Henderson of Blue Ridge, Jessica and Travis Campbell of Dillard Ga, Emily and Scott Kennett of Panama City Fla, Drew Henderson of Blue Ridge, Rhys and Caitlin Campbell of Angier Nc, Hunter Campbell of Alaska, Brynne Campbell and Bowen Campbell both of Fla; and his 2 great grandchildren: Caelyn Campbell of Germany and Juliet Campbell of Dillard, sister in laws, Regina Watkins and Barbara Watkins.

Funeral services: Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the officiating Rev. Richard Campbell and Rev. Travis Childress. Music provided by Brenda Milsaps and Greg Campbell. Interment will follow in Salem #2 Baptist Church Cemetery with
