Nellie Marie

Mrs. Nellie Marie Ray, age 92, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007 at her home. Nellie was born Wednesday, April 14, 1915 in Fannin County, Georgia to the late William H. Farmer and the late Vesta Jane Ross Farmer. She was a member Hot House Baptist Church and loved to sew and quilt.

Nellie was preceded in death by husband, James B. Ray.

Survivors include: daughter, Lois R. Cole of Stockbridge, Georgia and daughter and loving caretaker, Doris Jane Woody of Mineral Bluff, Georgia; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at 2:00 from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Frank Collis officiating. Interment will follow in Douthit Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Tony Cole, Brent Cole, Brad Cole, Dale Woody, Wayne Woody, and Derrick Woody .

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Monday, October 29.
