Neal Goodman York

Mr. Neal Goodman York, age 71, of Isabella, TN, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Mr. York was born Sunday, October 10, 1937 in Polk County TN to the late Earl G. York and the late Mary Holt York. He was of the Baptist Faith, and self employed.

Neal was preceded in death by sisters, Elsie Mae York, Geneva Cash, brother, Edwin Eugene York, Alvin C. York, David Walter York and Richard Martin York..

Survivors include: sister, Betty Duvall of Isbella, sister, Peggy Cash of Isbella, sister, Mary Jordan of Charlotte, NC, sister, Marcella Shearin of Charlotte, NC, brother & sister in law, J. M. & Pinky York, brother-in-law, Rodney Cash of Cleveland, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 18, 2009 at 3:00PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Delmar Davenport, and Reverend Josh Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Jeff Jordan, Brad York, Timmy Cash, Jeremy York, Tonny Cash, Peter York, Terry York, Theodore Cash, Donald Shearin and Sam Cash. Honorary pallbearers include: Jeff Jordan.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, January 17, 2009, from 6-9 PM.
