Mrs. Naomi Marrow Kovsky, age 83, of McCaysville, GA, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Kovsky was born Tuesday, October 2, 1923 in Polk County to the late Ralph and the late Letha Long Marrow . A member of McCaysville Church Of God, She was preceded in death by husband, Steve Kovsky, Jr. grandson, Eric Bruce.
Survivors include: son, Steve Kovsky of Blue Ridge, daughter, Joan Kovsky of Smyrna, GA, daughter, Linda Sherwood of Blue Ridge, GA, sister, Francis Carringer of Cleveland, TN, brother, R. M. Marrow of South Carolina, grandchildren, Jeffrey Bruce and Mark Johnston, great-grandchildren, Steve Bruce, Nicholas Johnston, Jacqulin Johnston and Roman Johnston.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 2:00PM from the McCaysville Church of God with the Rev. Chris Taylor and Dr. Jerry D. Johnson officiating. Music will be provided by Valerie Taylor. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Max Housley, Roy Tipton, Eulan Brooks, Todd Dillback, Jimmy Housley and Otis Melton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Friday, April 13.
