Nancy Wyke

Nancy D. Wyke, 72, of Carter Cove Rd, Hayesville, North Carolina, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Angel Community Hospital. Nancy was born February 4, 1951, in Franklin NC, to Larry Dills and Hazel Dills. Nancy was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed sewing, reading and especially working in her flower garden.

Nancy was preceded in death by father, Larry Dills; mother, Hazel Dills; son, Gregory Wyke of Chapel Hill; sister, Nadine Martin of Snellville GA; brother, Lucky Dills of Clayton GA. She is survived by her Ernest Wyke (Spouse) of Hayesville NC, Therese Chamer of Willmington NC, (Daughter), Ida (Tom) Justice (Sister) of San Angelo TX. Nieces Anita Martin, Becky Martin, Tammy Celaya and Nephew Brian Justice, along with all their children.

Pallbearers will be David Bradshaw, Nathan Allen, Daniel Wyke, Randy Mosley, Jordan Mosley, and Kevin Brown.

Funeral Service, on Thursday November 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Homes of Murphy with Rev. Aud Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Homes of Murphy on Thursday, 30th of November, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Interment will follow with no procession to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Hayesville, NC.
