Nancy Turner Buchanan

Nancy Turner Buchanan, age 62, of Dallas, Ga., passed away Monday, August 6, 2007 at Atlanta Medical Center. Nancy was born Friday, May 11, 1945 in Polk County, TN to the late Bryson Turner and the late Ethel Robinson Turner. She attended Legacy Baptist Church.
Nancy loved her children, family and friends, but she adored her grandchildren. Nancy grew up in a musical family. She sang in the church choir, also with her Dad, sister and nephew. Nancy was a talented pianist.
Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Ryan & Mandy Buchanan of Dallas, Ga., son, Heath Buchanan of Dallas, GA, brother & sister in law, Myron & Brenda Turner of Blairsville, GA, brother & sister in law, Marvin & Carolyn Turner of Austell, GA, brother & sister in law, David & Joy Turner of Mineral Bluff, GA, sister & brother in law, Betty & Chuck Foster of Epworth, GA, granddaughter, Peyton Buchanan of Dallas, GA, and grandson, Logan Buchanan of Dallas, GA.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 2;00 p.m. from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Pastor Ben Vond, Dr. Gary Parris officiating. Music will be provided by" Looking Up, Carolyn Filer, Delga & Steve Cox. Interment will follow in Hemptown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Burton Turner, Barry Turner, Bretney Turner, John Turner, Luke Foster, Leslie Dew, Monty Wilson, and Joe Taylor.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from August 7, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the American Diabetic Foundation or to a educational fund for the grandchildren, mail to Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, P.O.Box 1989, Blue Ridge, GA.
