Nancy Parker

Nancy J Scruggs Parker, 91, passed away on May 31, 2022, in Blairsville, Georgia, formerly of West Palm Beach FL,

Nancy Parker was born on January 27, 1931 in Atlanta, Georgia to Johnnie Scruggs and Eva Morris Scruggs. She graduated from Buford High School in 1948. She was co-owner of Topfer's BBQ in West Palm Beach, FL, with her husband, and later went on to work for a restaurant supply chain, Cheney Bros Inc.

Nancy was best known for love of family, cooking, and her love of the Lord and retired to the mountains of GA in 1994.

Nancy is survived by Townsend Horace Parker, her loving and devoted husband of 71 years. Her son, Edward C. Parker and his wife Pamela (Moore) of Chattanooga, TN. Her son Charles N. Parker and his wife Elizabeth (Conley) of Westfield, MA. Also, Christopher Michael Parker, grandson and his wife, Sherri (Tyler) of Blairsville. Jeremy Legue, great-grandson and his fiance, Noemi Paquette, of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The service for Nancy Parker will be held on June 3rd, at 12:00pm at First Baptist Church.

Visitation: 11:00 am.

Burial: Buford Public Cemetery
