Nancy Montgomery Owenby

Ms. Nancy Montgomery Owenby, age 73, of Blairsville, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 12, 2018.
Ms. Owenby was born on January 14, 1945, in Marietta, GA to the late Frank C. Owenby Sr. and Julia Abbott Owenby. Nancy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta, as well as, The Civil Air Patrol. She also served in the United States Army National Guard.
With a big heart full of love, she enjoyed all animals and never met a stranger. Her strong will meant she never took no for an answer so she often formed relationships with the people around her that they would never forget.
She will be remembered by all who knew her, but especially missed by her son, William David Bryan and granddaughter, Barbara Nancy Bryan, as well as brothers and sisters: Paul Owenby, Frank Owenby, Judy Owenby and Gaylor Owenby.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville with Rev. Gary Rogers officiating. Special music will be provided by Gloria Griggs, Susie Murphy and Julia Barnett. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
