Nancy Marie Rackley

Mrs. Nancy Marie Rackley, age 84 of Blairsville, passed away September 16, 2015 at the Union County Nursing Home. Mrs. Rackley was born June 7, 1931 in Napa Valley, CA to the late Herman Henry Gold and the late Nancy Ernestine Wells Gold. A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church she was preceded in death by husband, John Calvin Rackley, parents and brother Herman Gold. Nancy worked many years as a Registered Nurse for Copper Basin Medical Center and Fannin Regional Hospital.

Survivors include: daughter, Deanna Rackley, daughter, Lynn (Michael) Newberry, brother, Lewis Knief and two grandchildren, Christopher Shay Newberry and Andrew Stephen Newberry.

Graveside funeral services will take place 11:00 am Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Hemptown Baptist Church Cemetery with the Pastors, Robert Fancher and Valentin Rusu officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Av. Dallas TX 75231.
