Nancy Kirkwood Rondeau

Nancy Rondeau, 59, of Warne, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010
> at her home. Nancy, with her husband
> Doug, owned and operated the Bedford Falls Alpaca Farm in Warne.
> Over the years they have welcomed many
> community members to the farm for visits. She was known community
> wide for her love of alpacas and all animals.
> Nancy attended the Little Brasstown Baptist Church, where she was
> involved wtih the Hospitality Committee and
> the Christmas Love Project. She was a member of the Spinners and
> Weavers, the Warne Community Center,
> and was a favorite at the John C. Campbell Folk Art School and Fall
> Festival, where she and Doug would share
> their alpacas with everyone.

> She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Bowden Kingsbury and
> her father, Samuel Kirkwood Kingsbury.
> She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Doug, her sister, Ann
> Catino, her nephew Anthony Catino, and her
> special sister Brenda Jones, all of Jacksonville.

> In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in
> Nancy's memory to the Nancy Rondeau Memorial
> Fund, in care of United Community Bank, Post Office Box 1050,
> Hayesville, NC 28904. These funds will be
> distributed according to Nancy's last wishes.
