Mrs. Mildred Williams Farmer, age 71 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away at her residence Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Mrs.Farmer was born on March 22, 1940 in Fannin County, GA to James G. Williams and Ola Williams . She was a member of Youngs Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Williams.
Survivors include: husband, Junior Farmer, daughter & son-in-law, Trina (Chris) Davitt, daughter & son-in-law, Sherry (C.J.) Green, daughter & son-in-law, Lisa (Edgar) Parks, granddaughter & husband, Amy (Chad) Green Mason, granddaughter, Haley Parks, great-granddaughter, Kennedy Mason, sister, Ruby Manders, brother & sister in law, Rev. Fred (Dot) Williams, sister & brother in law, Lois (Frank) Grice, sister, Helen (Wayne Allen) Cruse, sister-in-law, Glenda Williamson, neices and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Youngs Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Mann, Rev. Jackie Cochran and Rev. Max Curtis officiating. Music provided by Vicki , Allison and Emily Whittenbarger.. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Donald Williams, James Williams, Paul Manders Johnny Manders, Scott Cruse, Stephen Cruse, Tim Higdon, Kenny Williams, and Chuck Farmer. Honorary pallbearers: Tim Mercier, David Lillard, Bill Jones, Charles Cochran, Mark Henson, Dr. Michael Gwaney, and Dr. William Whaley.
The family will recieve friends Wednesday and Thursday evening 3:00 till 9 :00PM from the Henry Cochran Funeral Home.
