Mildred Lance Baucom

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces graveside services for Mrs. Mildred Lance Baucom, 78, of Jefferson, Georgia, formerly of Blairsville, who passed away on Friday, September 11th, 2020 at home.

Mrs. Baucom was born in Blairsville, a daughter of the late Thomas Stanley Lance and the late Lora Pearl Richards Lance. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Wilce Baucom; a sister, Juanseal Lance Dowell, and a brother, Richmond Thomas Lance.

Surviving family members include a son, Anthony Loy Prickett, of Jefferson; and two sisters: Francis Butler and Carneal Burnette; Seven grandchildren: Lauren Danielle Prickett, Vanessa Jeffries, Mark Eric Jeffries, Victoria Martinez, Joseph Jeffries, Anslee Sophia Danea Prickett, and Lora Elizabeth Prickett; eleven great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends also survive.

Graveside services have been scheduled for Saturday, September 12th, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Tim Prickett officiating. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Anthony Prickett, Mitchell Lance, Charles Sheldon, Joe Jeffries, Stan Dowell, and Alex Dowell.

The family will meet with friends starting at 2:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville on Saturday, September 12th.
