Mildred Dortha Davenport (Hughes)

Mrs. Mildred Dortha Davenport, age 77 of Blairsville, passed away October 24, 2011. Mrs. Davenport was born September 18, 1934 in Blairsville, GA to the late Arnold Hughes and the late Dolly Beavers Hughes. She was preceded in death by father, Arnold Hughes, mother, Dolly Beavers Hughes and Brother, Cecil Hughes.

Survivors include: husband, Ellard Davenport, sons, Harold (Garlene) Davenport of Marietta, Bill Davenport of Dallas, GA, Roger (Cheryl) Davenport of Marietta, Paul (Magalene) Davenport of Rockmart, GA, Danny (Wendy) Davenport of Acworth, GA and Chris Davenport of Powder Springs, GA, sister, Lillie Breeden of Woodstock, GA, Brother, Floyd Hughes of Murphy, NC and sister, Carmen Carver of Jasper, GA. 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many other relatives also survive..

Funeral services: Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Hughes and Rev. Hoyt Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
