Michele Kimsey Ray, age 42 of Plant City, FL, formerly of Towns County, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at her home due to complications of Crohns Disease. Michele was born Tuesday, January 4, 1966 in Towns County, GA to L.E. Kimsey, Jr. and Carolyn Johnston Kimsey. She was a member of the East Side Baptist Church in Plant City, FL. Michele was a graduate of the University of South Florida.
Survivors include: husband, Jerry Ray and sons, Adam and Caleb Ray of the home, mother, Carolyn Fulton of Young Harris, father, Junior Kimsey of Hiawassee and brothers, Benny Kimsey of Sarasota, FL and Donald Kimsey of Young Harris, GA. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Hogsed and Rev. Denny Moss officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Denny Moss. Interment will follow in Osborn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: John Ray, Allan Bone, Jeffrey Kimsey, Brad Bradley, Larry Hedden and John Dean.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM, Sunday, April 27.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to a fund to be established for the college education for her sons c/o Jerry Ray, 1312 Mendonsa Rd., Plant City, FL 33563.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
