Michael Terry Maner

Michael Terry Maner of Morganton passed on March 18, 2019. He was born August 2, 1951, to parents, James A. Maner, Sr and Myra Maner. Mike was a man of great physical strength, great mental strength, and of unsurpassed integrity. He was the proud father of Michael Lake Quince Maner and Mitchael River Maner. He was also a most devoted husband and best friend to Cynthia Maner with whom he shared a wonderful marriage and 44 years together. Mike was a true mountain man who enjoyed rafting, boating on Lake Blue Ridge, and hiking. Founder of Misty Mountain Homes, Inc., he was also a master builder. His life was filled with laughter, hard work, determination, and joy. Raising their two sons, and more recently his granddaughter Juliana, was the highlight of his life. Mike loved his family passionately and was always a faithful help through all of life's challenges. He leaves behind his most beloved; Wife Cynthia, Lake with his wife Jessica, Mitchael, and Juilana Maner. He will be forever loved and missed by his family, friends, and large extended family. His family hopes that when you think of him, you always have a smile on your face, and warmth in your heart.
