Ms. Meryl June Watts, age 83 of Epworth, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Ms. Watts was born in Fulton, GA to Zachariah Joy Lee and Frances Elvira Lee. Meryl was an elementary school teacher in the Clayton County school system and lived in Red Oak till their move to Fannin County in 1997. A member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, she enjoyed painting, quilting, puzzels and square dancing. She was preceded in death by father, Zachariah Joy Lee, mother, Frances Elvira Lee.

Survivors include: daughter, Shelby Leanne Curlee, son, Zane Philip Watts, sister, Barbara Lee Lamm, granddaughter, Sandra Tuggle, grandson, Lee DeYoung, great-grandson, Jakob Tuggle, great-granddaughter, Cali Tuggle.

Visitation for family and friends, Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Henry Cochran Funeral Home, Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA with the Pastor Robert Francher officiating. Interment will be at 3:00pm in the Forest lawn Cemetery in College Park of Fulton County.
