Mertre Lunsford Bramlett

Mrs. Mertre Lunsford Bramlett, age 86, of Suches, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Bramlett was born January 10, 1932, in Suches, GA to the late Boss Lunsford and the late Mamie Gooch Lunsford. She was a member of Salem #1 Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mrs. Bramlett was preceded in death by her father, Boss Lunsford, mother, Mamie Lunsford, husband, William Hubert Bramlett, brother, Conley Lunsford, sisters, Margie Edge, Marie Fortenberry, and Alvie Watkins.

Survivors include her sons, Steve (Debra) Bramlett, and Keith (Sandy) Bramlett, a brother, Calvin (Gladys) Lunsford, special friend, Kathy Cruse, grandchildren, Amelia (Shannon) Collins, Mason Bramlett, Haley (Ryan) Humphrey, Weymon Bennett, Benai Bennett, and Cassie Bennett, great-grandchildren, Elijah Weaver, Emery Collins, Demi-Rhea Collins, Scout Collins, Easton Collins, Hayden Bryan and Adam Hall, great great-grandchild, Deacon Davis.

Funeral services: Thursday, December 27, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Salem #1 Baptist Church with Rev. Don Padgett officiating. Music provided by Ruth Bramlett. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Tommy Edge, Tim Edge, Bruce Bramlett, Chuck Panter, David Rogers, Robin Seabolt.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Wednesday, December 26, 2018, from 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
