Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mrs. Merle L. Timmons, age 87, of Blairsville, who passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Timmons was born in Okeechobee, Florida, on December 18, 1925, a daughter of the late Eugene Hataway and the late Mary Alice Upthegrove Hataway. She was a homemaker and she and her husband moved to Georgia from West Palm Beach, Florida, in 1994. Mrs. Timmons had been preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, and a granddaughter.
Mrs. Timmons was dearly loved and cared for by her family members: son, daughter, and four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Private family memorial services will be held.
