Mercedese Payne

Mrs. Mercedese Louise Payne, age 81, of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of Copperhill, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007. She was an elementary school teacher for 13 years in Copperhill, TN and Dekalb County, GA. Mrs. Payne was a decicated mother to her family, a loving wife and an avid supporter in the schools her daughter atteded. She the ?Neighborhood Mother? of Oak Grove Community. She was a member of Briarcliff Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Payne of Atlanta, GA; brother, Duncan Lyle of Sacramenta, CA; sister-in-law, Sarah Ellen Lanning; and neices and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, May 6, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. in the Crestlaw2n Cemeteryin Copperhill, TN.
