Melvin Leonard Wilcox

Melvin Leonard Wilcox, age 89, passed away on October 9, 2023.
Melvin was married to the love of his life, Clarice, for 68 years until her passing on May 17, 2023.
Preceded in death are his son, Timothy Todd Wilcox, and his grandson, Timothy Trevor Wilcox.
Melvin is survived by his daughter, Tina (Billy) Thomas; daughter-in-law, Michelle (Troy Mosser) Wilcox; grandchildren, Natasha (Caleb) Collins and Kristen (Ryan Rhodes) Ward; and great-grandchildren, T. J. Wilcox, Ryker Rhodes, Aspyn Rhodes, and Kaiden Collins.
Melvin was a faithful servant of the Lord serving as a deacon and several other offices through the years in the church. He retired from Tennessee Chemical Company after many years of service. He enjoyed helping his son with his business for several years as well. "Pap," as his family called him, will be greatly missed by his family & friends.
Funeral service Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 1:00 pm from Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Don Padget officiating. Music by Janice Reid. Interment will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers: Danny Dilbeck, David Cook, Jim Newton, Jim Bird, Craig Green, and Ronnie Hensely.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
