Mckendra Hays

Mckendra Leigh Hays, 48, of Marble, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Four Seasons in Flat Rock, NC. Mckendra was born March 5, 1974, in Raleigh, NC to Gary Welch and Ruth Bryson. 

Mckendra was preceded in death by father, Gary Welch and spouse, Christopher Hays. 

She is survived by her mother Ruth Brason Welch; Reba Hughes; sister Serena Peterson; sister Desiree Graves; and son Christian Hays. 

Mckendra loved the mountains and horses. Mckendra also loved watching Nascar Racing and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr.
