Maude F. Stiles

Maude F. Stiles, age 99, of Murphy, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Mrs. Stiles was born Friday, February 21, 1908 in Polk County Tenn. to the late Richard Pickelsimer and the late Lula Mae May Pickelsimer. She was a member of the Bell Hill Baptist Church. Maude was a wonderful mother, who Loved spending time with her family, working in her flower garden, fishing and going to church. She was preceded in death by husband, John T. Stiles, Children, J.B Stiles, C. L. Stiles and Willis J. Stiles, brother in law, Homer Mundy. nine brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Bill & Eula Mae Stiles of Murphy, son & daughter-in-law, Sterlon & Ruby Stiles of Murphy, son & daughter-in-law, Naymon & Francis Stiles of McCaysville, son & daughter-in-law, Hayden & Mary Lou Stiles of Murphy, son & daughter-in-law, Roger & Margaret Stiles of Murphy, daughter, Dorothy Mundy of Summerville, Ga., daughter & son-in-law, Sue & Goldman Brown of Murphy, brother, Harley Pickelsimer of Oklahoma., sister, Ota Myers of Gastonia, sister, Dorothy Bates of Gastonia, daughter in law, Doris Stiles of Homerville, Ga., daughter in law, Ruthie Stiles of Austintown, Ohio, daughter in law, Mary Stiles Roberts of Murphy, thirty-one grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren, twenty- five great great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Bell Hill Baptist Church with the Reverend Charles Stalcup and Reverend Scotty Stiles officiating. Music will be provided by The Golden Sisters. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Wednesday, May 30.
