Mary Inez "Betty" Wright

Mary Inez "Betty" Wright, age 85, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. Inez was born January 9, 1939, in Mineral Bluff, GA to Aurlon and Myrtle Thomas.

Inez was preceded in death by her father, Aurlon Thomas; mother, Myrtle Ware Thomas; husband, William "Billy" Wright; brothers, Howard Thomas, Everett Thomas, and Earl Thomas; sisters, Ida (Jackie) Moore and Edith Waters; grandchildren, Richard Wright, Keith Roberts, and Shianne Newton; and great-great grandchild, Abel Robinson.

She is survived by her son, Franklin (Gina) Wright; daughter, Sandra Wright Starcher; brother, Kenneth (Becky) Thomas; grandchildren, Mindy (Anthony) Pollett, Jason (Samira) Starcher, Amanda (Jason) Deal, Melissa Roberts, Heather (Jeremy) Smith, Michelle (Joshua) Millsaps, and Jordan Wright; great-grandchildren, Christopher (Hollie) Meissner, Kayla Meissner, Chasity Starcher, Josh Starcher, Maddie Starcher, Joseph Starcher, Liam Roberts, Hayden Roberts, Josilynn Newton, Baylee Ledford, Braylee (Justin) Harper, Hadlee Smith, Hudson Wright, Kason Wright, and William Millsaps; and great-great grandchildren, Aubrey Robinson, Cash Robinson, Kahudda Meissner, Kameron Meissner, Kristopher Meissner, and Karter Meissner.

She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church. 

"Betty" loved bowling and participated in many bowling leagues over the years.

Funeral Service, on Thursday February 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Flowers officiating. Music provided by Braylee Harper and Charlotte Flowers.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jordan Wright, Jason Deal, Jeremy Smith, Anthony Pollett, Jason Starcher, and Chris Meissner.

Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Morganton, GA.

The family will receive friends at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Wednesday, 14th of February, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
