Mary Mull Collins, age 81, of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 in Union General Hospital in Blairsville.
Mary was born in Morganton, Georgia, on December 4, 1934, a daughter of the late John Harrison Mull and the late Lillie Johnson Mull. She had lived most of her life in the North Georgia area, and was of the Baptist faith. Mary loved her family, and her grandchildren were especially cherished. She was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team. Besides her parents, Mary had been preceded in death by her sisters: Katherine Mull Moss, Jeanne Mull Green; and brothers, Clint Mull, Reid Mull, Charles Hamilton Mull, and Vince Mull.
Mary will be greatly missed by her family: son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Trudy Hart Collins, of Blairsville; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Roger Bell, of Kennesaw, Georgia; grandchildren and their spouses: Ami and Darren Wilson, of Martins Creek, North Carolina; Travis and Alicia Collins, of Bonham, Texas; Ryan and Mattie Bell, of Atlanta; and Cory Bell and Carly Hansen, of Avon, Colorado; two great grandchildren: Christian Byars and Matthew Collins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 9, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home, with Minister Terry Stuart officiating. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Terry Collins, Roger Bell, Joey Moss, Ryan Bell, Travis Collins, and Darren Wilson. Burial will be in Hemptown Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Thursday evening, from 6 until 8 p.m.
