Mrs. Mary Arp, age 93, of McCaysville, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs.Arp was born Friday, August 7, 1914 in Maryville, TN to the late Andrew "Dell" Angel and the late Catherine Chapman. Mary was a member ofthe McCaysville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by first husband, George Weese, Sr. and second husband, E.P.Arp.
Survivors include: son, George Weese of Morganton, GA, daughter, Joan W. Turner of Gainesville, GA, three grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday Aug. 3, 2008 at 2:30 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Bill Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Church of Christ Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Saturday, Aug.2, 2008 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
