Mary Jane "Mickey" Mascoe

The Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces the death of Mrs. Mary Jane "Mickey" Mascoe, age 78 of Blairsville, who passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Union General Hospital. Mrs. Mascoe was born May 9, 1938 in Muskegon, MI to the late Jacob Moesker and the late Grace Ackerman Moesker. A member of the Providence United Methodist Church, she was preceded in death by her parents and son, Randy. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her dogs. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and crafts.

Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Bryan Mascoe, son, Jeff Mascoe, daughter, Chris Mascoe, brother, Bill Moesker, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Providence United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Aiken and Rev. Dr. John Kay officiating. Music provided by Stephanie Poole. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Providence United Methodist Church on Wednesday, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am before the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or the Castoff Pet Rescue (www.castoffpetrescue.org).
