Mary Isabelle Williamson Turner

Mrs. Mary Isabelle Williamson Turner, age 91, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020.

Mrs. Turner was born in Stamford, Connecticut, a daughter of the late Paul Carleton Williamson and the late Jeanette Souter Williamson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lewis Turner, Sr., and a brother, Paul Williamson. Mary will be remembered for her love for her family, and how she devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She lovingly sacrificed herself to give to her family. Mary loved the Lord and continued to lead others to Christ through various ministries she was involved in.

Surviving family members include Edward L. Turner, Jr., and wife Jenny of Richardson, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Tracey Nickolson and husband Ron, of Blairsville, Georgia; and son and daughter-in-law, Scot C. Turner and wife Janine, of Tacoma, Washington; six grandchildren: Ashley Turner Parker, Lindsey Turner Irwin, Jennifer Turner Westerman, Jamie Nickolson Bertone, Amy Turner McNeal, Brandon Turner; and three great grandchildren: Grace Irwin, Michael Irwin,Jr., and Henley Parker.

Memorial Services have been scheduled for Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, with Dr. Fred Lodge officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
