Mary Frances Evans was released from her earthly body and passed into the loving presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 7, 2017 after an extended sickness with Alzheimer's. A memorial service will be held on June 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church in Young Harris, Georgia.
The burial will be held on June 24, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Mays Chapel United Methodist Church in Maiden, North Carolina.
Born in Jefferson, North Carolina as the third child of Reverend Charles Curtis Murray and Mary Margaret Herman Murray, she was a sweet loving sister to Charles Ronald Murray (deceased 2004) and Louis Murray of Snellville, Georgia.
She was the proud and loving mother of her daughter Leslie Ann Evans (deceased February 14, 1990) and her son Lee Edward Evans of White Salmon, Washington. She was loved and faithfully cared for by her soul mate and fiance for many years. Mary Frances's family will always be grateful for John Phillip Craft's love and care for so many years.
