Mary Brown

Mary Margie Brown, 93, of Fannin Co., passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Parkside Nursing Home in Ellijay, GA. Mary was born January 12, 1929, in Fannin Co., to Everett Henry and Beaulah Davis Henry. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Henry; mother, Beaulah Davis Henry; brother, J.P. Henry; brother, Oscar Henry; brother, Thomas Henry; sister, Arzetta Buchanan; brother, Emmett Henry; brother, Danny Henry; and daughter Alice Brown. 

Mary is survived by her Son, David (Leila) Brown, sister, Jane (Norman) Owen; sister, Faye (James) Dillard; sister, Dorothy Conner, brother, Alvin (Joann) Henry; grandchildren Elisabeth Rasch and Meredith Brown; great-grandchildren Emmett and Elenore Rasch.

Mary worked as an Sewing machine operator for Levi Strauss in Blue Ridge. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, working with flowers and was known for her great cooking.

Funeral Service, on Monday August 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Jeff Brown officiating. Music provided by Jimmy Ritter.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jimmy Henry, Richard Henry, Jimmy Ritter, Freddy Ballew, Shawn Carver, and James Thomas.

The family will receive friends at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Sunday August 7, 2022, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
