The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces Memorial Services for Mrs. Mary Ann Proffitt, age 70, of Blairsville, GA who passed away peacefully on November 11, 2017 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Mary Ann was one of four children of Harold & Margaret Dick of Wheeling, West Virginia.
Mary Ann owned and operated Charmed Accents gift store for the last 20 years. She didn't know a stranger, loved people, her church, and God.
Surviving Mrs. Proffitt are her husband, Richard; son & daughter-in-law, Pete & Cindy Secret; daughter, Amy Secret; step-daughter & son-in-law, Lorri & Kevin Yancy; brother, John; sister, Lisa; and 5 grandchildren, Blake Secret, Jordan Secret, Ashley Secret, Andrea Ingram, and Matthew Yancy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 18, 2017 at Christ The King Church, 145 N. Main Street, Hiawassee, GA 30546.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family requests donations be made to Christ The King Church.
