Marvin Roosevelt Patterson, age 71 of Morganton, GA, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Heritage Health Care Of Blue Ridge. Patterson was born Saturday, October 31, 1936 in Fannin Co. Ga. to the late Roy Everett Patterson and the late Annie Mae Bryant Patterson. A member of loved hunting and fishing US Ary Veteran , He was preceded in death by wife , Margie Kathleen Patterson.
Survivors include: sister, Velma Smith of Morrow, Ga., sister, Blanche Barton of Morganton, sister, Mildred Buntyn of Norcross, Ga., sister, Tressie Arp of Jenkinsburg, Ga., brother, Charles Patterson of Normal, Ill., brother, Tony Greene of Blue Ridge, brother, Harold Greene of Mineral Bluff, several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Joe Dan Wilkins,officiating. Interment will follow in O'Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Fred Arp, Steve Barton, Shane Sinard, Ronnie Sinard, Rodney Patterson, Waylon O'Neal. Honorary pallbearers include: Ralph Ensley, Billy O'Neal, Wayne Patterson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-9, Friday, November 16.
