Marvin Kirk Brown

Brother Marvin Kirk Brown, age 64 of Morganton, passed away Sunday June 28, 2015 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Br. Brown was born April 7, 1951 in Wichita Falls, TX to the late George J. Brown and Alma Smith Brown. A minister and member of Gospel Light Baptist Church of Blue Ridge, GA and former pastor of Friendship Baptist Church and Victory Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by father, George J. Brown and sister, Sally Joan Brown.

Survivors include: wife, Gail White Brown, mother, Alma Brown, sister, Wanda (Ronnie) Ray, brother, Robert Brown, sister, Linda (Tommy) Ward and seven nieces and nephews..

Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge with the Br. Freddy Thomas officiating. Music provided by Robert Buchanan, Tommy Dowdy and the Gospel Light Baptist Church Choir.
