Martha Marie Shepherd

Martha Marie Shepherd, age 78 of McCaysville, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 7, 2019 at her home. Martha was born June 27, 1940 in Cleveland, OH to the late Doyle Galloway and Delma Parris Galloway. Martha was Baptist in faith and she had played piano for several churches over the years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, cooking for family and friends and traveling.

Survivors include her mother, Delma Galloway, son, Mark (Della) Shepherd, son, Michael Shepherd, sister, Cathie Parker, brother, Jim Galloway, five grandchildren, Alex Shepherd, Brooke Shepherd, Sarah Shepherd, Amanda Shepherd, and Mark Shepherd, Jr. and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Parris and Rev. Buddy Pittman officiating. Music provided by Jerrie Sue Massengale and Ed Vest. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 12-2 pm.
