Martha Carol Davis (Rhodes)

January 15, 1946 — October 14, 2013

Mrs. Martha Carol Davis, age 67 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Davis was born January 15, 1946 in Fannin County, GA to the late Harley Rhodes and the late Jessie Clark Rhodes. A member of the Hot House Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by son, James "Bryan" Davis, sister, Dorothy Abercrombie, sister, Edith Bailey, brother, Bob Rhodes and brother, Joe Rhodes. Carol adored her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother and the best Nana. She had a sweet spirit and was loved by all who knew her.

Survivors include: husband, James "Jim" Davis, daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Paul Cochran, brother and sister-in-law, Winston and Pon Rhodes, grandson, Brent Davis, granddaughter, Holly Cochran, granddaughter, Hope Cochran, granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Tara and Corey Ragan, special nieces, Alleyah Hargrove and Suzie Patterson and nephew, Ronnie Abercrombie.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Hooper and Rev. Mark Davis officiating. Music provided by the Caylor family. Interment will follow in the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Andy Rhodes, Gary Wehunt, Seth Bailey, Ronnie Abercrombie, Darvin Couch, and Brent Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Bailey, Carlton Patterson, Henry Hooper, Josh Patterson, and Paul Davis.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
