Martha Ann Brown (Dalrymple)

Mrs. Martha Ann Brown, age 63 of Murphy, passed away June 22, 2011 at the Heritage Healthcare of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Brown was born June 12, 1948 in Murphy, NC to the late Harold and Dorothy Byess Dalrymple. She was a member of New Hope Fellowship Baptist Church in Blairsville.

Survivors include husband, William Glover Brown of Murphy, one step-son, Donald Brown of Hiawasee, two brothers, Benny Dalrymple and Jerry Dalrymple of Murphy and many other friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with the Reverends Leon McDonald, Charles Grible and Eddy Ramey officiating. Music will be provided by Spirit Lead. Interment is in the Bellview Community Cemetery after the service. The gentlemen serving as pallbearers are Jon Dalrymple, Cody Chastain, Ben Cook, Doug Chastain, Kevin Mullins and Dan Chastain. Honorary pallbearers are Zayne and Talen Dalrymple.
