Martha Adams

July 13, 1934 — August 29, 2024

Martha Adams went to be with the lord on August 29th, 2024.

She was such a strong woman and full of spunk, even at the young age of 90. Anyone that knew Martha knew how devoted she was as a wife, grandmother and friend. Martha and JE recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary, leaving a beautiful legacy of a lasting marriage. She loved her family and gave her entire life to be a homemaker and supporter for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is proceeded by her Husband, JE Adams, her daughter Tama Dunn, and her grandchildren Alyce Dunn and Kristyn Dunn Hamilton and her four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephews Gene Davis, Tommy Davis, and Ben Davis.

She always enjoyed a conversation talking about past times with her family's and family.

Martha was a beautiful soul that was always cooking, baking and hosting whenever she could. We pray that the lord is breathing a breath of fresh life into her lungs so she once again keep up with the best of them. She will be greatly missed. My grandmother, Mamaw, left a strong legacy and I hope to be as strong and resilient as she was.

A celebration of life and memorial service will be held on September 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the McCaysville, Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Interment will take place in the Crestlawn Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the McCaysville, Methodist church on September 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
