Marlene Marie Helton Bell

Marlene Marie Helton Bell, age 84, of McCaysville, passed away August 9, 2021. Marlene was born December 29, 1936, in Copperhill, TN, to the late Ernest Helton and the late Alice Mae Stuart. She was of Baptist faith. Marlene enjoyed Elvis, sewing, reading, working in the yard, watching westerns, square dancing, and dancing in general. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Helton, mother, Alice Mae Helton, husband Billy Lee Bell Sr. and son, Greg Bell.

Survivors include: daughter, Eva (Elijah) Davis, daughter, Sandy (H.L.) Burgess, daughter, Valorie (Ricky) Bunch, son, Billy Lee Bell, Jr., daughter, Pamela Bell Wycoff, brother, Tommy (Corrine) Parris, granddaughter, Amy Parks, granddaughter, Lindsey Holt, and grandson, Jason Lewis. Six great-grandchildren also survive.

Due to COVID exposure concerns, the family requests friends use their personal discretion in attending the visitation from 2pm to 4pm at the funeral home on Thursday August 12, 2021 and the 4pm funeral service at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Your prayers are appreciated. Interment will follow the service in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Copperhill, TN, on Thursday, August 12, 2021.
