Ms. Marjorie Talbot, age 93 of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away August 29, 2010 at Heritage Health Care. Ms. Talbot was born June 1, 1917 to Oscar & Pearl Sirles in Caledonia, County, Virginia.
Ms. Talbot moved here from Florida 15 years ago, she was a wonderful mother and was lovingly known by her grandchildren as Nonnie. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Talbot.
Survivors include: son, Clifford Pye of Mineral Bluff, daughter, Sandra Brennan of Mineral Bluff, 3 step-daughters; Kathleen, Susane & Barbara, grandchildren; Rick & Christine Brennan, Laurie & Chris Deluca, Kimberly & Rick Fohr, Tammy & Marti Algar, Krystal Pye Donn, Kristy Austin, Koleen & Mike Pye, Joey & Carolyn Brennan, 14 great grandchildren.
Family will have a private memorial service at Bethel Methodist Church before her interment at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dale City, Fla. Friends and family can sign the guest register and send their condolences on line at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in memory of Marjorie Talbot to Bethel Methodist Church * 13655 Old Hwy. 76 * Morganton, Georgia 30560. Arrangements for Ms. Talbot were entrusted to the Henry Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Georgia.
